With nearly two decades of experience, Kayla adapts easily to wherever she’s needed—whether she’s assisting providers, caring for patients directly, or keeping things organized behind the scenes. She ensures records are accurate, medications and allergies are updated, and communication through Spruce flows smoothly.

During visits, Kayla focuses on creating a calm, personal experience. She takes her time during vitals or lab draws, explains each step, and pays attention to small details that help people feel more comfortable. She believes that slowing the pace or remembering something about a patient’s family can ease nerves and make visits feel more personal and less rushed. Her priority is to reduce discomfort, build trust, and make sure patients feel understood and cared for throughout their visit.

Outside of work, Kayla homeschools her two children, and her family enjoys RV trips, kayaking, and spending time outdoors. They are also active in their church community, where they regularly serve others through meals and outreach.
